Dawn brings over 18 years of real estate finance and accounting experience to her role as the Controller for Monroe Residential Partners. She manages all accounting, reporting and financial aspects for the company and its portfolios.
Before starting her career atMonroe Management Company Dawn was a Vice President, Senior Fund Account Manager at BNY Mellon. Dawn started her career on Wall Street working for JP Morgan in their Financial Control Outstanding Division where she became an Accounting Officer. After relocating back to her hometown Chicago she worked for Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group as a Senior Auditor. Having a desired to continue her work in real estate finance and accounting she obtained a position at RREEF (Rosenberg Real Estate Equity Funds), which was later acquired by Deutsche Bank, and therefore became a part of their Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management Real Estate Investment Group. At Deutsche Bank Dawn was responsible for the financial affairs of 1 REIT with assets in excess of $565 million and 5 separate account funds with assets in excess of $1 billion. After working at Deutsche Bank for over 15 years the fund finance team at Deutsche Bank was acquired by BNY Mellon. At BNY Mellon Dawn was responsible for leading a team of fund accountants in all aspects of the day to day activities for the fund administration of a REIT and various separate account funds with assets in excess of $2 Billion.
Dawn holds a BS degree in Accounting from Hampton University, and an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Finance from Roosevelt University.
Jeremy is a principal in the law firm Ruttenberg Gilmartin Reis LLC. Jeremy has a wide range of expertise, including residential and commercial acquisitions and dispositions, development and real estate based corporate matters. In his role as General Counsel to Monroe Management, Jeremy is an advisor and provides legal guidance in all matters to Monroe Management.
Marsha Dillingham is a Staff Accountant at Monroe Management Company and works on monthly bookkeeping which includes accounts payable and receivable billing activities, draw packages for development properties, and financial statements. Marsha is proficient in QuickBooks and Yardi accounting software. She has over 15 years of experience in accounting. Marsha received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Valdosta Technical College.
Jorge Quintero is a Property Accountant at Monroe Management with over 10 years of experience. Proficient in Yardi, Sage and QuickBooks. Has worked mostly with general contractors and property management companies. Jorge has a B.A. from Robert Morris College.
Emmanuel brings over 7 years of real estate development and management experience to his role at Monroe Management. He is responsible for property management, budgeting, and implementing all management policies and procedures.
Before joining Monroe Management, Emmanuel was a Community Manger at First Community Management, a condominium management company in Chicago. He was responsible for budgeting, capital project management, and communications for the portfolio of 10 communities. Prior to that Emmanuel was a Portfolio Rental Property Manager at Kass Management services, a property management company in Chicago. He was responsible for budgeting, management, collections, and leasing of 350 unit portfolio.
He is a licensed Community Association Manager and Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois. Emmanuel received his B.S. in Real Estate and Finance from DePaul University.
Alex joined Monroe Managment in 2015 as the Director of Marketing. Alex is responsible for leasing and selling the company’s diverse real estate portfolio.
He uses his combined decade of experience in investing, banking, and property management to negotiate win-win scenarios for the parties involved throughout each transaction. In the past few years, Alex has bought/sold over $40M in real estate and was recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors as a Top Producer in 2016. Alex is passionate about helping and educating his clients and the community. As the Treasurer of the Northwest Side Housing Center, he teaches quarterly First Time Home Buyer classes at Wright College and also volunteers as a soccer coach.
Alex graduated from the enriched Business Leadership Program at the University of Puget Sound.
Nick Burbulis has over 20 years of property management experience in various facets of the real estate industry. From small to large size properties, he has overseen multi-million dollar budgets, customized to fit the needs of a particular property. Nick received an MA in Real Estate Management and holds an Illinois Real Estate Broker license, as well as an Illinois Community Association Manager license.
